Many congratulations to Dave Shepherd on winning our SLADE tickets for August 14th courtesy of MY GLITTERBALLS. The competition was run by Jennie Park of PALM FM on the 'Party On The Boat' Friday July 16th. What was so great was hearing that so many people are coming to our GLITTER BALL!!
AMAZING NEW BAND ADDED TO AUGUST 14TH GLAMROCK PARTY

My Glitterballs are very proud to anounce that in addition to the amazing line up on August 14th the absolutely BRILLIANT
EARHOLY CATASTROPHE will also be performing for us.
Check out below their band biography...
Earholy Catastrophe were formed in Nov 2008 in unusual circumstances. A dear friend of mine, Robert ‘ Wobbly Bob’ Chambers, himself a well respected musician, was in a hospice fighting a rare form of brain cancer. For 2 years he had been both muse and mentor to me, an inspiration and my staunchest supporter . He instilled the belief in me that I could do anything I put my mind to, in a way that no one else had ever managed to do. He had often said he would like to hear me sing, so when I heard he had gone into the hospice, I knew that I wanted to put together some music for him, just a couple of songs. I inlisted the help of bass player Iggy Stropp, and a chance meeting bought guitarist Captain Carrott into my life. Unfortunately, Bob left us on 29th December 2008, but we were having so much fun with the music we decided to run with it, and Earholy Catastrophe was born. What followed was quite extraordinary, we were asked to headline our first 2 gigs, people fell over themelves to give us something for nothing (their services, equipment etc) . On the first anniversary of Bobs death, I received two surprise emails, one offering the band a record deal, and another from Festival of Sins asking me to do a fashion show for my glam rock clothing. Bob had said to me on many occasions that he couldn’t repay all the things I had done for him, but he would never forget and one day he would. I would like to think that that is exactly what he is doing right now. Earholy Catastrophe are not a ‘look alike’ or ‘sound alike’ band . We are simply 4 musicians who put our own stamp on the music from the era when everything that glittered might just have been gold. Our aim is to have a good night with a smattering of theatrics (and with tongue planted firmly in cheek) take you back to those halcyon days and put you in the party mood.

Bring on the SLADE!!!
It's wigs, it's flares, it's glam make-up, it's 70's, it's legends and it's all happening on August 14th....Bring on the SLADE!!!
Hi everyone. The interview with Dave Hill was mindblowing and having just returned from Wolverhampton i am still feeling overwhelmed. Yes Dave is a wonderfully warm and witty guy and he has given us some amazing material to have broadcast shortly. Dave and the boys are really looking forward to Torquay on August 14th and on behalf of SLADE have promised everyone a night to remember!! More shortly Glam friends x
Dave Hill was born in Devon and there is something very special occurring on TV soon! Also Dave announced that he is writing new material for the band and that performing on stage means as much to him and the band now as ever, if not even more and they have promised a very special night on August 14th.
Next Wednesday SLADE are in town. Turns out Dave was born in Flete House, Ermington. Two miles from where we live!
I'm going on westcountry tv next week and someone called Dave Hill will be tucked under my arm. Now i'm damned if i know which wig to wear...
Coming soon live new pics of myself and Dave Hill x x
